The House Concert started its project House Concert in Your Town in 2012 to make concerts easily accessible for everyone. The most significant feature of the project is that the audience is seated on the stage with a cushion during the concert. This way, the audience and artists are able to feel physically and psychologically closer to each other while truly appreciating music.

The project is executed in its unique format in about 200 culture and arts centers in Korea. The House Concert provides performances of classical music, traditional Korean music, popular music, and other various genres to concert halls at least once a month. The projects main goals are to increase utilization rate of local concert halls, to attract diverse audience, and to offer artists opportunities to perform on stage. It ultimately aims for the cultural development in Korea through vitalizing cooperation of local concert halls, audience, and artists.

Additionally, the House Concert has participated in a wide range of cultural projects including its annual festivals, Culture Day Project, which has been designated and hosted by Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support local culture and arts centers. Kumdarak Saturday Art Academy has discovered talented musicians all over the nation. Such projects have been strengthening cultural foundation of various regions in Korea.
